My first guest post ever, here at In A Few Words! Well, not so much a guest post as my daughter wrote a poem that I think is really good, so I hijacked it from her to share. Enjoy!
In the dark I hear them calling
In the night I turn to run
In my dreams I feel im falling
What are bullets without a gun
I wait for shadows to pass me by
Death came and went
I turn my hollow eyes to the sky
Wondering if you were heaven sent
In the light I see them coming
In the rays of light I stand
In my thoughts I feel im cunning
My life has went without a plan
I think my heart has turned to stone
I can’t feel a thing
In a room full of strangers I’m so alone
I’d welcome the pain
I think my heart has turned to stone
I can’t feel a thing
In a room full of strangers I’m so alone
I’d welcome the pain

I will pass this along! I think she’s great too, just wish she would write more, but she’s always lost in a book somewhere. (which is equally great :D)
